sony pcm-d50 transfer volumes
« on: May 15, 2008, 09:47:33 AM »
I just bought one of these and love the sound. However, downloading to computer, the level is EXTREMELY low. The meter levels on recording were certainly adequate, and playback volume from the machine through headphones was more than adequate--only had to turn volume up midway or so. But the waveform on the computer barely registered, and even with computer volume turned to maximum, I could barely hear the file. I double checked this with our local university audio director, with the same result.

Anyone else have a similar problem or suggested solution?

How did you transfer the file?  USB?
