Problem with Tascam DR-1 (built-in mics - different sound level)
« on: September 01, 2010, 08:48:36 AM »
Could someone help me to find the answer why I suddenly got a different sound levels (about 3 dB) on both channels of the built-in mics of my Tascam DR-1? The problem suddenly appeared after about 10th recording. And it seems that there is no reason why it happened  :D . Maybe somehow I physically damaged one of the mics? Maybe somehow I pushed a wrong button? It is not a big tragedy, it's easy to solve the problem at post-production – about 100 shows were recorded since then. But I got tired of this "ritual" of adjusting a volume in one of the channels each time. Maybe there is any solution?

Thank you.
