I used a pick-axe to break mine into little pieces after it repeatedly screwed me, and Tascam balked at repairing/replacing it.

How good are the AD/DA converter ?
How does it sound compared to the Yamaha CDR HD 1500 ?
I know a rew guy who got the Yamaha, and I think they are too complicated to use..

Was that the model with the hard drive? I heard that the one that only wrote on DVD-RW could screw up.

I also read that the AD/DA was outstanding.
