Title: the Sony ECM-MS907/8c
Post by: Sean Gallemore on November 10, 2003, 04:15:53 AM
link to mic specs (http://www.sonystyle.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/eCS/Store/en/-/USD/SY_DisplayProductInformation-Start;sid=akiIz9_Pdp6I5OBgPi2CxJDenEG088aHb6k=?CategoryName=hav_HAVDepartmentAccessories_Microphones&Dept=hav&TemplateName=item%2fsy_item_b&ProductSKU=ECMMS907&ContentItemPage=)

those are the specs on the mic.  It is described as a Mid Side mic, but also unidirectional?  Some one please help me understand how this thing works.  It also has a switch between 90 and 120 degrees, I'm actually not sure what that does now if there are 2 caps in there.  I always figured there were 2 caps postioned x/y and you can vary the angle, but every site I've been reading says it's a mid-side and I'm just not understanding it
