PM Dr.Fob, I've seen his once or twice.
"This is a common practice we have on the bus; debating facts that we could easily find through printed material. It's like, how far is it today? I think it's four hours, and someone else comes in at 11 hours, and well, then we'll... just... talk about it..." - Jeb Puryear

It should come with an AC power supply that has a variable pattern pick up and a cable. Adjust it to the patten you want to run. The cable is multi-pin and very fragile. Be careful when plugging it in and unplugging it.

Other than that, it is a pretty straight forward mic to use and sounds freakin great. Your going to love your new mic!

i got the one without the ac power supply. each capsule has its own pattern selector and they can be rotated against one another.

Oops, my comment was for the SM69. The USM is a self contained unit and has all adjustments on the body of the mic. So rotate caps, set patterm, plug into your favorite pre-amp with phatom power and enjoy!
