Title: 4060 pre/ad shootout?

What do you all think the likelyhood of getting a comp done with the following rigs is:

4060->mic2496>MT
vs.
4060>mma6000>R-09

do you all think this would be a helpful comp if we could find people with the gear in the same general area to set it up?

Yes, I would like to hear this!  Anything comparing the line-input of the R09 to other stuff is interesting to me.

I have an MMA-6000 I could loan out.  With no shows coming up until September, it doesn't look like I'll be using it for a while  :-\

All comparison's are of interest to me, but it is nice to see comparison's which are specific in nature - like comparing analog to digital conversion, or preamp quality.

I have the ability to run this:
DPA4060 > Core Sound BB > R-09 (line-in -or- pre-amp)
DPA4060 > Core Sound BB > R1 (line-in -or- pre-amp)
DPA4060 > Core Sound BB > MT24/96 (line-in -or- pre-amp)

I've been waiting to record a show with good dynamics in a very good sounding venue to run this, but I will post it when I do.

Great.  I'm most interested in: R09 line in vs mic in, and compared to some known quantity like plain UA5.  Others would probalby like to know how MT compares on mic and line in, but not me.
