if you already have a set of nice headphones i'd go w/ the headphone amp.

i've got sony mdr-7506

I use those headphones too, they work fine for me, any reason why you want to go with a pair of monitors over the 7506's?



i'm leaning more towards monitors so that other people can listen as well.
