After being burned by a failed external drive i transfer each master to two seperate Lacies & keep the og SD cards (not re-recording over).
Getting a little overwhelming here...
Anything out that resembles a card catalog drawer that'll also accept Compact Flash cards?

What are lacies?

Seems like it would be easier and cheaper to keep copies on three external hard drives than two Plus keeping the SD cards. That's what I do. Although I guess you've already spent the money on all the cards. Does it matter how organized they are if you'll only be going back to them if a disaster kills both your rugged hard drives? And in that case you'll probably want to copy all of them again anyway, so still organization seems unnecessary.

You should consider getting cloud backup, or, at least, keeping one of the sets of masters somewhere other than your house. The data gurus at work say (minimum) three copies, with (minimum) one off-site. I really like iDrive and I know others here speak highly of Hightail and Backblaze.
As for SD cases, this one (https://www.amazon.nl/KIWIfotos-geheugenkaart-waterbestendig-SD-kaarten-Nintendo/dp/B07Z1S1TS5?ref_=Oct_d_obs_d_22522640031_5&pd_rd_w=B3K9m&content-id=amzn1.sym.bf06e839-154d-41c2-aa3b-ad7ffd58bfad&pf_rd_p=bf06e839-154d-41c2-aa3b-ad7ffd58bfad&pf_rd_r=QK871023YQV8JE3H306X&pd_rd_wg=BqDZw&pd_rd_r=675144d8-22c7-4d42-a834-0cc47391a3bb&pd_rd_i=B07Z1S1TS5) looks pretty cool (sorry link is in Dutch). Only forty slots, though. Pelican makes a really nice one, but pretty pricey and even less room for cards.

Good points Rob & thanks for the links See3 & Aaron!
Well past time to upgrade my Apple cloud storage space & begin placing masters there, let alone the 20year defect of uploading to LMA (where applicable).
+T to all three of ya

I say this so often that I'm sure some people here have already started eye-rolling...
I encourage you to make one of your backups to optical discs. I run quarterly backups to BD-R. Just be sure to use quality HTL media. With good media stored properly, these discs should be stable much longer than any magnetic media.
