I find so much wrong with this design. BUT a commenter has one: "IS it soldier-proof? what if the soldier bites/breaks the clip and swallows the microphone?"

They should consider subbing it out to Crown to manufacture.
And best make just sure the amalgam is RoHS compliant!

Just stealth the Omarosa way. Probably cheaper too.
