Vegas Movie Studio help?

Hey now.  I purchased Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 9.0.  I can't figure how to replace the audio on a video.  I load up the video (in my case an AVI)  Then load the audio.  I get them synced up and mute the audio on the video and then render to AVI.  All I get is a black screen though with nothing.  Help.   ;D

Make sure the video track header was not muted.
