ok first page was blocked out for a wikis of testing software, discussion of noise and its measurements, etc and perhaps we can post actual reviews and measurements neatly on the first page as they are collected.

Please feel free to add any info here in a general discussion format and we can use it to aggregate content for the first page wiki

i was thinking of grabbing one of these:

https://www.amazon.com/SONCOZ-Silver-Digital-Converters-Balanced/dp/B089KMYL1V

https://www.amazon.com/Flagship-Decoding-Ultra-high-Ultra-Low-Distortion/dp/B07PDKQQ7Y

at ~$200 both are nice little units that test pretty well, close to 120 dB of dynamic range at their max +14dBU level

https://www.audiosciencereview.com/forum/index.php?threads/soncoz-la-qxd1-balanced-dac-review.13459/

https://www.audiosciencereview.com/forum/index.php?threads/wolfx700-measurement-of-smsl-m300-mkii-edition.10836/

would be cheap enough to pass around for people to test their own gear from a standard unit without shipping the more expensive gear all over
