Just a quick note to possibly save some cash on the mount, check out monoprice.com.  I got a tilting, extendable mount for a 42 plasma for like $60, and its very nice.  Wouldnt buy a mount anywhere else.

I'm very happy with my Sony Bravia 42" LCD.  But it was $1800.

Got mine for 1100 at Christmas...........I absolutely love it.... I got a 5 year warranty plus free software update....not sure what that is for....But the picture is dam near flawless.....At times I really feel like I am looking through a window......You haven't watched sports till you watched HD sports of a sony LCDHD screen......
