Did a few searches, found some good leads in these two... Need some better RCA's between my pre and my amp.

Also check out Signal Cable. I sold some hifi to the guy who runs that operation, and he's really pleased with the sound of his cables--and they're cheap. I still haven't tried one :-[
I always used to use Kimber PBJ. You can find those cheap on a'gon.

What do you think of them ?

They are very clean. Not warm like the cardas but not strident like some silverplated copper is reported to be. They are slightly brighter that the MIT shotguns I have but not in a bad way. I never noticed that they had an effect on the soundstage. Just clean signal transfer.
My problem with analyzing wire is that I bought different wires to play around with, so I have some nice ones but different manufactures. Swapping means tweaking just one link in the chain and not all links at once. So I can't comment that Vampire Wire has some signature sound the way I hear the MIT wire, where I have enough to cover the entire path.
