Creative Zen Vision M
« on: April 06, 2021, 08:23:01 PM »
Found a Creative Zen Vision M in a thrift store today, was in original box, had paperwork and start up discs but no cable or sync adaptor, was $4.99 so I bought it. Now WTF can I do with it? LOL. Is it worth my time to see if it even powers up? Is it past it's time as far as tech is concerned? Pop it on the bay and just flip it as is?

I used one for the longest time before assembling an audiophile setup. It's a neat little player. You should use it in places were it wouldn't matter if you lost it or something. I have a similar one now that I use when mowing the lawn.

I loved mine when I had one years ago.  Used it for mp3s and it was a favorite.  It developed problems after a fall (who woulda thunk?).
For that price, if it was an open box, I personally would see if it worked and if it did, I would rock it.  Unopened box?  Tougher question.
I wouldn't pay the prices that are on Ebay for one, but I mean, someone would eventually.  Maybe.
This nostalgia strikes me better than vinyl ever will.

I had one for years and loved it!  I may still have the sync adapter if you want it.
