2.0.0 does not seem to be too much different from the beta 1.3.14, but is much changed from the "stable" 1.2.6. I've been using the beta versions forever, and I suspect so have most people around here. I volunteer in the local public school teaching recording and the schools have a policy not to use beta software, so at least now I'll be able to get the school to upgrade from 1.2.6 to 2.0.0. That will save me from having to bring in laptops to teach the class.
