Title: Modding a PS-2
Post by: ashevillain on June 04, 2004, 05:18:52 PM
Awhile back there was someone selling a ps-2 > sbm-1 combo where the ps-2 had been modded w/ RCA's outs instead of XLR's.
Can someone gimme a short how-to please?

thanks

Also, what is involved in modding the sbm-1 7 pin dongle to have a coax out instead? Is this possible?

Ahem.  :P  Check the Archival Info forum.

Good call. I was reminded of that again just now when I checked out the thread, so I updated the original post to reflect Todd R's corrections.

well, im not sure on the ps2 mod, i just have never done that... maybe pm leegedy and ask him, he seems to know this stuff really good, he made an aes(xlr) > rca cable for me, maybe he knows what wires go where when you hack off the xlr of the ps2
