I don't see any options in Quicktime "Light" to export or convert anything.
So the app I was using, iDicto:
http://davaconsulting.com/?submenu=idicto&topmenu=iphone, added an .aiff format option. I tried recording to an .aiff file and I can open the .aiff in iTunes and Quicktime, but I still can't open it with any editing software.
If I try to convert any of the .aiff files I get to a .wav using iTunes, I get an error saying "Error occurred while converting the file "x". The disk could not be read from or written to."
I was able to burn an audio CD of the .aiff files from iTunes and then rip the CD to .wav with EAC, but that seems like burning the CD is an extra step that I shouldn't have to take. I can't even open the files with any of these programs: Adobe Audition 2.0, Cool Edit Pro 2.0, Audacity 1.3beta, Switch, foobar2000. Does anyone have any other ideas about how to convert these?
Here's a sample aiff file that I'm trying unsuccessfully to convert. The iPhone app lists the file as this format: AIFF, IMA4, 44100Hz, mono. It's about 1.2MB and a minute long.
