How to distinguish between MP3 and MD?
« on: April 07, 2005, 07:00:31 PM »
I'm currently checking all my shows for mp3 lineage, but there are some shows who look like mp3 (in spectrum analysis and spectral view) who are supposedly lossless.

So is there any way to distinguish between MD recordings and MP3 (wma/ogg/etc...) compressed audio?

hmm, i do know that some md recordings look like mp3 in spectrum analysis programs.  most likely because they were originally recorded in lp mode or something similar on the md.

Because nothing says "I have lots of money and am sort of confused as to how to spend it" like Bose.
