Mk012's>Mixpad4>JB3
« on: December 12, 2003, 05:38:38 PM »
I just set this up, I just got the Mixpad in the mail today, I feel like a Kid on x-mas morning ;D

Should I use the -10db Pad that came with the Mic's?

What kinda Level's should I use w/the mixpad?
How long can I expect the 3 (9v) vatt's in the mix pad to last, running both the mixpad and Phantom powering the Mic's

another ?? Is where can I find windscreen's to fit these mic's

Thank's In avance for any help

Nick

There's a thread around here somewhere about this. Try to avoid using the -10 db pad. It degrades the performance of these microphones.
Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one.

the windscreen answer is in the archives.

Hey, I use the mixpad. For your typical rock show, I have trim around -20, levels for 1 & 2 around anywhere from 11 oclock to 1 aclock, and the main level around 11 to 1 aclock also. That is usally the range that Im in, you may differ though.

I run rechargeables, and I can get I think like 4 hours with phantom, but anything that there is a set break, I will usally change the batteries... Hope it helps
