Title: JB3 transfer file error????
Post by: Nate on March 31, 2005, 12:01:41 PM
I've been trying to transfer a file over to my PC using Notmad Explorer.  The file appears file on the Nomad and even plays.  When I go to bring it over to the PC, it shows up as unreadable.  When I right click it...it says it is "0 bytes"...even when the it shows it at about 988 MB wav.

I just started  using Notmad....and haven't had this problem in the past.   Any thoughts?

I did go into Notmad and change the name of the file to the band......but that is

thanks in advance

Follow up:

Here is what I found out....the file I was transferring over was the "now playing" file...the file was queued up so to speak.   I selected another file and tried the transfer again.   I attempted the transfer 3 different times and finally it worked.

Hope this helps someone in the future.

To sum up:  make sure the file you want to transfer is the the last file you have played.

I believe it's possible to transfer files other than the last file played.  So instead I'd say something like:  don't try to transfer "now playing" files.
