D-8 Problem
« on: September 17, 2004, 11:06:07 AM »
DAMNIT! OK so, I've got a problem with my Sony D 8 and it's driving me nuts!

Deck has been working fine...transfered some tapes last week with no problem.

I went to transfer a show this morning and, I hit play, it goes about 4 seconds, and shuts off....tired changing batteries as well as running off the adaptor...also tried a few different tapes...

any ideas?

Have you checked the tapes that came out of the deck to see if they're chomped? It might be as simple as something stuck in the heads that's gumming up the path and forcing an error...
