Title: High quality card-bus audio??
Post by: amfortas2006 on January 27, 2008, 03:32:50 PM
What is the best card-bus audio chipset for playback, not recording?

The only criteria important for me is audio output quality (D/A) and maybe for the card to have digital input...

Thanks!

The Echo Indigo seeems to be pretty good value, but I don't have any first-hand experience:

Breakout box or not - what's your preference?!

Hi!

What do you mean by breakout box?

Thanks Jan

a breakout box is an external box. so you go card bus > breakout box, and then plug all cables into the breakout box.

with the indigo dj, you plug the cords directly into the card.

oh, thanks!  ;D

well, no breakout box then, I like it simpler; if there is a box outside, its gonna be my amplifier
