New ADK Preamp!

Sorry if this is old news but I was poking around the ADK site and saw this on the accessories page:

Flight Cases
 
ADK Offers Three Levels of Flight Cases. Our Standard Case is a small Aluminum Flight Case. Our Deluxe Case (shown below) is a Full-Size Flight Case with plenty of room for extra cables (made to fit our upcoming Pre-Amps!).

I wonder if they mean external preamps (like a V2, 148, etc) or if they mean mic preamp bodies.  Guess we'll just have to ask JP on the ADK forum.  I'd be really interested to check it out if it's an external pre given ADK's track record on mics.  Not that we like new toys or anything like that around these here parts.  ;)

We're still working on that...

It will probably be a high quality solid state unit, don't expect a sub 200$ price here....

Keep checking the Forum once in a while, I'll start a "new and forthcoming products" Topic soon!

Portable, but I do not think they will be DC powerable.

Portable, but I do not think they will be DC powerable.

any info i can find that would lead you to believe this?

Mike asked if it'll be portable/DC powered and JP said he'll see what he can do about including a low voltage DC PS connector, but it doesn't sound like it's a primary concern at this point.

I have spoken a lot with JP. There are no plans to make any DC powerable gear at the moment.
