Which current SD card works with R44?
« on: September 30, 2012, 08:41:38 AM »
Hi , i am getting "slow error" message on the Edirol R44 (stock) when recording with all 4 channels.

For what i read, it has to do with the sd-cards. Seems like my cards are to fast for the machine. (simple said)

I used several that are NOT in this list http://taperssection.com/index.php?topic=97893.0  :-[ , but now I can not even find these specific types anymore (Europe).

I used these type (which gave problems with 4 channel recording, not otherwise):

Kingston SDHC 8Gb (class 4)
Sandisk Ultra SDHC 16gb (20mb/s)
Sandisk SDHC 16GB (class 4)

Does anyone know which current (widely) available cards will work? (I prefer a 16gb card)

Your welcome.  I paid twice that awhile ago and that was a great deal then.  Memory keeps getting more affordable.

Truth.

$80 for 16GB card was a really good price when the R-44 first appeared.
