Pfitzinger Voice Design app tips/tricks cables?
« on: January 28, 2025, 02:14:23 PM »
Hello!
Just downloaded/payed the Pfitzinger Voice Design app, would like to explore this app recorder experience

Would use:
-Audio-Technica AT943 / Sound Professionals SP-CMC-8 w/ 4.7k mod
-Generic connector like the SP-SAPM-1-USB-C
-SP-ATEN-1  that would be a generic cable  (dont have that yet)

App is installed in a Redminote 10 pro (android)

*Missing the battery box
I have a Deneke PS2 that came with the  SP-CMC-8 ´s
INPUT connetors 2XLR
OUTPUT connector is 3.5mm
Can I use it as battery box/phantom to power up the mics?
any other "cheapo" recomendation? not bulky as the PS2?

what else do I need?

Tips or settings? please

Regards
Ed

The Deneke PS2 can act as a battery pack, but it provides 48V phantom power, which may be too high for the SP-CMC-8 (which typically requires 5-9V Plug-in Power).
