Title: RC car batteries with the Denecke AD20 & PS2
Post by: spyder9 on March 08, 2005, 12:03:50 AM
I found 3 RC car batteries, 2000mah, on eBay for $30.00 shipped.  I'd like to use 2 of these to power both my Denecke AD20 & PS2.  I prefer these over the 3000s primarily because they are a little smaller.  If a regular 9v is 650 mah, then I should get at least 3 or 4 2hour shows out of 1 charge.  Correct?  I easily get 2 hours out of a regular set of 9vs.

Questions:

1)  Do these RC batteries get hot when running?

2)  Outside of the required tamiya male connectors, where do I get the actual power connectors for My Deneckes?  Rat Shack adaptaplug?

3)  Anybody run these with their Denecke?  What was your max running time?

I'm tired of buying Duracell 9vs.  Usually costs me about $5.00 a show.  I plan on picking up a smart charger too.
