I have the same machine. I like it because it is fairly sturdy and smooth. Usually it is just belts. If you can afford to ship it, then I use Audio Design & Service in Burbank, California. All they do is repair old vintage stuff, like ADATs, and DATs. 2625 N Ontario St, Burbank, CA 91504 (818) 754-0467 They will charge you a $75 bench fee to open it up and give you an estimate, and if you repair it, the $75 is applied to the cost. I've not had a DAT that hasn't run about $200 to clean, replace belts, adjust and bring up to factory specs. My guess is about $40 to ship it UPS ground.
