Title: FLAC decoding error in TLH but plays fine
Post by: jefflester on June 01, 2023, 05:25:23 PM
Got FLACs of a recent official release that give me this error when I try to decode in TLH 2.7.0:

01 - E5150 (Live in Seattle, April 24, 1982) (2023 Remix).flac:  flac fingerprint cannot be checked since it was unset in the streaminfo block.

But the files play just fine in VLC. Is there some way around this error? I want to decode to WAV so I can compare files between the original and "remix" in Audition. The remix version is about 3 mins longer.

Not really an error but just notifying you that the MD5 was not written to the FLAC file.  If you want it there you can reencode FLAC to FLAC
