Are iPhones still capped at 24/48 ?  They also incorporate volume limiting somewhere in the chain, but mine sounds great.
There are only the smallest differences between it and my best system.
My biggest concern is killing my battery when I may need it for an 6 hour audio bridge during a project, so I have a stand-alone DAP now.
I also like self-contained systems without dongles and the minimum of adapters.  (see otra thread)

I did grab a DragonFly Red last night, it's for home use, I just have very little space to work with. If it sucks it's going back. I want to see if I like having the pc as part of my stereo before spending more.But also curious how it is with a phone, my iPhone se isn't blessed me with a great output.
