When you pick up the Mini MP and a Mini Me let me know, I'll take that m148 off your hands so I can try out m148 > v3 ana > dvra-1000.  ;)
Maybe a couple of small scratches, but thats because these mics are chick magnets.
Girls always up on Andy tryin to grab these mics, the scratches are from their wedding rings.

Yes. That particular one that the tapers here use(the stereo 192), though I *believe* that is the case with all of them.Absolutely amazing sounding box..

i run 140's > v3 and i agree with the others, its hard to beat.  its a pretty easy and small, yet good sounding rig.  if you don't want a lot of weight, i'd suggest that, if you don't mind carrying around a slightly bigger bag, go with a seperate pre and ad, play around with what you have a bit and see what sound you prefer.

right now if i had the cash to spend, i'd be going 140's (with the ak43 caps for backup) > m148 > v2 > mytek > mt.  granted, i don't know how long i'd keep all that, cuz i could imagine how heavy my bag would be, but it'd be fun to run for a few gigs.

Because nothing says "I have lots of money and am sort of confused as to how to spend it" like Bose.

hammer, don't sell the Oade modUA-5.  Get a T plus mod done or a busman2 T+ to it.  You will be able to recover the money you spent if you do not like it (I assume you are expecting 285 for the digi modUA-5, if you add $250 for Oade T plus or whaever busman is charging for his, probably less than 200, then you will recover your money).  If you dig the sound of the T plus mod, the only thing you will need to do later is get a V3.  My suggestion is to run the MiniMP in front of the UA-5 and the Mini-Me.  if the sound agrees with you, get the T plus done to it...or if the Mini-Me sound is what you want, you could get rid of the UA-5 or have a P plus mod done to it and dump the Mini Me!  It will clean up the sound and add more depth (lower noise, better transient response).  It will be the most cost efective way to get something better than you already have.  Either way, you will clean shop and make a little dough.  Trust me on this.

Mytek uses the CS5396 chip, what's in the V3?

not true about the mytek.  the stereo96 uses the CS5396.  the stereo192 uses the AK 5394
