Are people buying it as the "open end wire" option and then terminating it themselves (using the Digikey parts linked above)? Or will one of the two listed JST options work? Thanks.

I re-terminated mine.  I thought that I did something wrong as I would not charge the Tinybox but my charger just died.  I just got mine back from Jon today and this is the replacement charger that he recommends with the 5.5mm x 2.1mm barrel connector. (Currently Out of Stock)

I soldered the end onto a new connector for the guy I just sold my tiny box v1 to. 

Can someone please through a voltmeter onto their charger and confirm + center and - outer with 8.39v across the two?
