Topic: CA-Ugly 2 DIY Repairs?

I've recently resumed capturing shows after years away.
I've been using my CA-11/Ugly 2/M10 setup to capture audio.

I've noticed that the connectors between the 9 volt battery and the CA Ugly 2 preamp are very loose.
I need to use a rubber band placed around the battery in order for the Ugly 2 to consistently receive power.
I am considering using crazy glue or something similar to keep the connectors on the Ugly 2 in place.
Has anyone else had this issue. If so, how did you resolve it?

I see myself taping fewer shows as my favorite artists retire from touring.
I'm unsure about investing more money into this hobby and would be satisfied by fixing my Ugly 2 and maintaining my current rig.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

Do you have a pic of what the issue is....i cant picture it.

I had at one time a church battery box that only Energizer or Duracell(one or the other) fit snugly into the connector terminals,the odd battery wouldn't stay connected.

As you can see, the connector on the left is pointing towards the right, when it should be facing straight down.
The connector is also slightly sticking out of the epoxy, when it should be secure.
This is where I feel superglue would come in handy.

I have had the CA Ugly 2 since May of 2015 and it has served me well.
I believe that removing (being forced to yank in a tilting motion) the 9-volt battery from the tight fight of the Ugly 2 over time, is what may have caused the connector on the left to become loose. When the pandemic hit the USA, I removed the battery from the Ugly 2 and stored it securely in a drawer until I taped a show last week. I recall having the same issue that required the rubber band, pre-pandemic.

Any feedback would be appreciated.
