Topic: Edirol R09-HR secret menu?

I’m still taping regularly with my Edirol R09-HR, although it’s ‘walking on it last legs’, as us dutch people say. I’m anxiously waiting for some proper tests of the Zoom H1XLR to see if it’s the replacement candidate I’ve been waiting for…
Now, going through all these messages here about various recorders, I found someone asking if the R07 had a similar ‘service menu, just like the R09HR’.
This made me very curious: Is there indeed a ‘secret’ service menu on my Edirol? And of course: how to enable it? Anything interesting in it?
Google and search on TS didn’t help finding any info, maybe someone reading this knows?

Great info, indeed the kind of stuff I was looking for. But unfortunately there was no known way to access these menus on the Edirol R09-HR back in 2010... The mentioned key combinations for the R09 don't work for the R09-HR. Has anybody found out a way to make these menus work on the HR too? I hope so...
