How to perform 4.7k mod?

Got a soldering iron for xmas. i have a few akg ck97 lav mics that i want to solder into  pairs of stereo mic w 4.7k mod

I couldn't find any links on where to purchase the resistor
is this the right 4.7k resistor?

You can probably use a 1/4 watt resistor. This one is pretty big.
Mics: mk4v/mk41v/mk22 > CMC1L/Nbobs, 4061, MKE2
Preamps: Mixpre-D, Nbox Platinum ABS

is this the right one ? i don't need 300 of them but i can only find large quantities.

I was gonna say that LED supply is great when you just need one or two, but I just checked and they don't appear to have 4.7k in stock:

Maybe an email to them would be worth it, they do appear to have 47, 470, and 47.5k, so I don't see why they wouldn't keep 4.7k in stock.

Mouser is another good source of parts.  If you have the tools I would go with an SMD
