Title: Kingston Elite Pro 8GB Compact Flash - Best Price & Opinions w/MT24/96
Post by: dactylus on July 15, 2006, 12:06:38 PM

Howdy,

I'm using a Kingston Elite Pro 4GB Compact Flash card now and have had great success with it in my MT24/96.

New Egg has the Kingston Elite Pro 8GB card for $288.  This is the cheapest price that I've been able to find.  I may need the extra storage next weekend.  Are any of you using the Kingston 8GB compact flash card with your MT24/96 or any other recorder?  Any problems or concerns with this card?  I'm ready to purchase.  Thanks for your opinions.

I would buy 2 4gb cards. They are going for around $80.00 now.

I bought a Transcend from Newegg and it works fine.

I got the Transcent 8GB and it sucked.  Didn't work for crap in the MT.  Got the Kingston 8GB (finally) and it works great.  Works just like my 2GB, which would be, flawlessly.
