Title: charging batteries

i have read the answer to this somewhere sometime, yet still need advice.
 1-should i charge 9v dvd type batteries tonight for show at 8pm tomorrow nite.
 2-charge at hotel tomorrow from noon til 6pm before i leave for show.
 3- charge tonight and top off at hotel before show.

i always charged the night before and have never had issues going 3+hrs
