Anyone know what cable I would need to run digitally from a DAT player to a Sony D50?
-
I don't think the Q can be answered without knowing what DAT you will be using so we will know what kind of digital output(s) it has.

The digital input of the D50 is an optical mini.
My DAT deck had both coax and optical outs so I use this optical S/PDIF to mini cable from Monoprice:

If your DAT only has coax digital outs you would need some kind of coax to optical converter like this one:

I have optical out on the DAT.
Will opt for this:

Good lord that's cheap!
Thanks.
