I have a tascam dr-2d that i have mics plugged into levels are fine but when i try to line out to computer it doesnt recognize my tascam dr-2d  im using window 8 mand adobe audition
Recently i gota new computer and was able to do this on vista!!!

I always connect my dr2d to my computer via USB.  It looks like aremovable drive at that point to the computer and you can copy your files off via Windows Explorer.  Another option is to remove the SD card and read the files off via a SD card reader.

I'm not sure what language that was, but why is he using the 3.5mm line out of the DR2D into a PC?    ???
 
Hypothetically, you probably need to adjust the internal sound card settings on the PC, make sure you have the proper sample rate et al, if not buy an interface.
