Same here just because its a locking xlr connector, even though they do make locking RCA's as well! I still prefer AES though! YMMV! The difference in resistance[75ohm for SPDIF and 110ohm for AES] doesn't matter at all IMO either!
I cant believe its been since like 2007-ish since I ran a digital input deck[481/3>v3>722]! I used to run 481/3>v3>digital>jb3[2004-2005]/722[2006-2008] back in the day, and that's the last time I ran a digital signal! Crazy its been that long! But it's def nice being able to send 2 channels through one cable like possible with SPDIF/AES >:D 8)

I'd go AES. But either will work.
I'd go AES too, for the locking connector. Your skilled TS cable makers can construct one of these cables for you if you don't already have one.

Thanks y,all. I have been using the aes out of the ad2k+ > 702 input. I like the locking xlr too.
