Title: powerbook 2GB limit
Post by: ice8888 on June 01, 2003, 08:03:20 PM
so i have run into another problem with my powerbook and Spark ME.  when running 24/48 i have hit the 2GB file size limit.  spark ME opened up a new window, and i figured everything would be seamless.  well, it's not.  sounds like there are a few seconds missing.  any help with what i can do to eliminate this in the future?

thanks.

in wav64?  i had nothing missing the 2times i did it.  are you sure it is missing some?

if peak worked correctly you could use that and do split stereo/  that way you'd get 2 gigs per channel....but peak won't work correctly with usb...

scott,
let me know how that amadeus program works out.

i am positive it didn't work for the lexington randolph show.  there is a definite gap between the first file and the 2nd file.  not a huge deal cause i can splice in the 2 seconds or so it missed from the dat, but i would prefer that i don't miss anything.  otherwise, it'll be a royal pain in the ass to splice stuff in for every source i tape from now on.  hell, we've got at least 40 shows from now through the end of august to tape.  now i just have to figure out how to get time off from the new job, and still get married and have a honeymoon in novemeber.  ;)
