Topic: 16mm mic mounts/clips?

I found a DPA triangular rubber mount...not gonna work.  Anyone know of others?

The smallest I know of is 19mm - if it's a mic. that requires something smaller, best to go to the original manufacturers.

If you have a pair of AT8010s, you can line the clip with some self-adhesive felt or neoprene-like synthetic rubber available at most craft stores. The felt may take two layers while the synthetic rubber is about 2mm thick so one layer on each side of the clamp portion of the mount should suffice. I lined a set of 8010s to keep from scratching the mic bodies but other mounts also should be able to be lined.

I think you could use Tensimounts for almost any size mic.  Pretty flexible solution.

I should've noted a few things when I first posted this thread.  Unfortunately, the mics I'm questioning about are Nakamichi CM-700's, which are discontinued (i.e. no current accessories).  Also, these have been made into "actives", thereby removing the mic bodies from the equation.  The mic portion remaining is the smaller (16mm) attenuator barrel with the capsule attached.

Big Muff utilized the DPA mounts with the 16mm rubber triangles for the 700's here:

...but I'm looking for even smaller clips.  I have no issues with the DIY approach, so I think I'm going to take the route that Moke did and convert some existing clips "down to size".  I'll report back as things progess.
