converting 24bit to 16bit

Looking for good cheap program to convert 24bit 44.1 to 16bit 44.1 to burn audio cd.

audacity, it's as cheap as it gets.

if using a newer Windows OS(vista/7), you may need the newest version.

Yep Audacity is pretty damn good for free software, runs on both platforms too.
