Sony ECM MS957 vs. ECM957 PRO
« on: May 27, 2011, 07:16:17 PM »
Hi all,

Apart from the 'PRO' designation, the different colour of the mic housing, and a higher price,
is there any real (i.e. sonic) difference between these two mics?

Seems that the only significant difference is higher sensitivity. Good for nature recordists, but for concert tapers there's other mics out there with much better value...
