I need a new stand. The footprint on mine is too big, and it is getting a bit rusty. Please recommend some and include model numbers and/or links if you have them.

what do you want for height?

I've it a couple of these.  I bought them from a photography store going out of business.  Although, this isn't a bad price.

at 13' I don't want too small of a footprint, especially if you have much mass up top.

With my 13 foot, I can bring the tripod support ring up right under the legs, which helps to brings in the legs some.

Or you could cut the legs of an existing tripod.. you could experiment with your old one first.

This is the one I (and I believe at least a handful of other people) use.  Its not very heavy duty and can provide a pretty small footprint if you want it to.  Personally though, I wouldn't put much on top over ~6' if you're using the smallest footprint.

edit:  measured it and fully erect the footprint is about 12".  Now I wouldn't even want to put church mics on that, but I could sort of see running FOB straddling a leg holding it the whole time and not taking up more than an extra half a body of space.

as long as it is not a huge footprint I can work with it.

Yeah, thats just to give you an idea.  It can go anywhere from 12" (wouldn't recommend) to almost 3 ft (totally sturdy).  Just fair warning though it is pretty light weight.  I only use it when I'm taping by myself since everyone else has beefy stands I can clamp to, and wouldn't really trust it around 7' and up with more than two or so pairs of SDCs.  But as always YMMV.

Its a decent manfratto knockoff.

How small of a footprint are you looking for?   I can close the legs to about ~18" diam.  (I'll do a measure when I get back home to confirm.)  But, I wouldn't add a lot of mass.  I'd only do it with one pair of mics and never spaced more than 2' if I were using omnis.

Heavier duty, but a little shorter, than the one achalsey linked to. Not a tiny footprint (prettydamnbig when fully spread actually) but if you want a smaller footprint it is doable by pulling the center up so the lateral supports angle up rather than horizontal or down. Haven't actually measured it but I'm guessing in the 18-20" range if setup that way and it will go a little over 10' in that config. I've had a 1meter Markbar on it (steel, fairly heavy) with a set of Nak omnis fully split, two pairs of Beyers, a set of ADK A51s close to the middle and a set of ADK STs in Blumlein on it with no problem but that was with the legs fully extended.
