hehe this place rules... no pat downs at all.. we walked by to check out security.. was none. put everything in fanny pack and walked on in. All I can say is  PACKED with drunk punkers.. we just setup out in the open, no one said a word..
I was just gonna armpit the mics, but my buddy showed me the shoulder mounting way, which I ended up setting up outside and then we came back in( we coldn't find the power switch on the Aerco, like a bunch of retards).
Tape came out ok, too packed.. latter half sounds better when I didn't have as many people in the way..

anyway. .thx for ideas!!
+T's all around!

Out of curiousity, can you describe the "shoulder mounting way"?

yeah. run cable down shoulder. take bottom, run thru belt loops -> fanny pack. plug mic in on shoulder end, stick under shirt.. the tension of the cable/shirt has the mic going up a bit and all you have to do is keep em straight...  looks funny, and the end of the mic is sticking out a bit, but works...
I want a big ass baseball hat to mount them in for Ozzfest... only hats I've seen are the one size fits all.. well, they dont fit with 2 mics in there! haah

I should add, that if using this technique, run the roll off on your mics.. I should have last night!!

I taped the Dwarves once back in the early nineties. I asked Blag himself for permission and he was happy to oblige, he even offered to take me with them to tape the next night in Detroit. Could have been the whisky and amphetamines talking, but they "were" taper friendly.

oh wow. figured they'd be anti for somereason... I dunno what Fang's policy was.. I would assume since Sammytown was talking about "this beer better be full of acid" that it wouldn't be a good thing to tape.. heheheh
I'll prolly get stabbed to death if his parole officer hears the tape. hehe

Cool idea! I'm guessing you need to have shoulders bigger than a 12 year old boy (like me) in order to pull this off.... otherwise it'll look like you have 2 broken collarbones. ;)
