Good Dual Well CD-Recorders?
« on: July 06, 2004, 10:03:01 AM »
Hey all, my boss just bought a stand alone CD recorder made by Harmon Kardon. It is a consumer model so it needs those special CDs and it also is having problems with SCMS from the SPDIF Coax output of our Masterlink. He needs a dual well recorder, but is on a bit of a budget. Is there anything out there that is more professional under $500. I have been looking and cannot really find anything. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks so much.

I've been using the Philips 785 for a couple of years. Not sure that's what you are after.

No idea about under 500 bucks but I'm pretty sure that Marantz makes a pro dual well deck.  Yes, indeed it's called a MZCDR510.  Looks like it's more like $699-$749 online though.  Llooks like a pretty sweet unit though...
