xp is reconizing its plugged (the icon shows up in the bottom corner) in but creative play cente risn't

edit uninstalled and reinstalled the software-still nothing

That shit used to drive me crazy....

The only thing I figured out as to swap from firewire to usb. Whichever I tried first would never work, as soon as I switched connections Creative Playcenter would recognize it almost immediately.
