does anyone have this or know about it?
i am looking to grab a decent priced surround system to replace mine that died :(
reviews welcomed thanks
Mics - AKG ck61/ck63 (c480b & Naiant actives), SP-BMC-2
XLR Cables - Silver Path w/Darktrain stubbies
Interconnect Cables - Dogstar (XLR), Darktrain (RCA > 1/8) (1/8 > 1/8), and Kind Kables (1/8f > 1/4)
Preamps - Naiant Littlebox & Tinybox
Recorders - PCM-M10 & DR-60D

Dunno about that specific system. But I will say that IMHO at price points under $1-2000 or so you are better off sinking an equivalent amount of $$ into a quality pair of two-channel speakers than into 5.1. Sorry, I know this is not really the info you are looking for.  :P

Great advice.  You are going to find literally nothing in this price range outside of xls series from av123.com that would sound remotely decent and not like utter crap.  Mark-up on the lower end geaqr is going to be about 500%.  Do the math :-)
Microtech Gefell 200/210->Zaolla Silverlines->Fostex FR-2 (oade modified plus other self mods)

Playback: Bolder modified Squeezebox SB3 (building linear power supply)->Bolder Cable Modified Panasonic XR-45 with bybee's->Bolder Nitro speaker cables->VMPS Audio super modified 626r's, VMPS Larger SUB, 1000w class AB sub amp
Tweaks: isolation and room treatments, silclear, BPT 1.5r Power Conditioner (modified), isoblocks, vibrapods, many others

the more i think about it though i should just get a 60 inch flat screen and worry about playback after >:D
