On a motorcyle, I'd prefer the pelican too.
My only suggestion is to try and keep the foam depth even all the way around each mic.
If you have room, you should consider doing what I did and fit the mics into the case with the shock and screens attached. I use the windtech clamps to verical mount to the stand, so I leave the windtech studs in the H85 in the case. It cut down my setup time and he mics and shocks ride securely. You'll have to pluck more foam to make room for the big screens but you'll also decrease the chance of tearing the screens by not having to pull them on and off all the time.
