Well I was typing a response and then this shit got moved :angry3: :P

Where you using USB?  I had a similar problem and attributed it to either the USB or the JB3 or the software "timing out" due to the sheer size of the transfer.  I switched to Firewire and haven't had the problem since.

FWIW, there is also a driver for Japan which would allow you to use a JB3 in conjunction with an Apple... if that interests anyone..

Nick, I just went to this site and didn't see anything for JB3/Mac OS - can you clarify this? If it's true that'd be a big change and I might be interested...

greenone.. It was posted to the JB3 taper group on Yahoo.

I went to the link at the time and it was there, but it was an odd japanese version of the site.

Just tried looking to no avail, anyone still have their like JB3 group mailers?  Yahoo's database are down :(

I did find this on google tho..

Hello,

Creative has released a Mac OS X driver for their MP3-players
(inclusive NJB3) to be used with iTunes. Still no support for
Firewire, but hopefully they will get it working as well.

For download, go to:
http://asia.creative.com/support/drivers/welcome.asp?region=2&LangID=1033&OS=14&\
prod=502&Select=Get+Files&Submit=Get+Files&x=17&y=3

Or if that does not work: http://asia.creative.com/support/drivers/
and search for "nomadinstaller".

+T for your time and trouble...but no matter what I put in, it tells me there are no files. Searching for "nomadinstaller" at that URL gives me: "Sorry, there are no Creative firmware/drivers for NOMAD Jukebox Zen NX under Macintosh OS X."

Then any type of search involving the JB3 and Mac OS (OS X, OS 9.x, OS 8.x or just Macintosh OS) comes up as "Sorry, there are no Creative firmware/drivers for NOMAD Jukebox 3 under Macintosh OS X."

:(

Oh well...glad that Nomad is excited about Mac OS X. ;)

greenone, I'd recommend joining and posting to that njb3tapers group on yahoo.  Surely someone there downloaded it while it was available!!!

I think Mike Wren (who posts here irregularly) posted afterwards saying "good stuff" so perhaps he tried it, maybe you can PM him here (MikeWren)
